Anas Touijar, President and CEO, is a seasoned mining engineer and executive with over 15 years of international experience, spanning Canada, Morocco, and various mining operations worldwide. Prior to his current leadership role, he served as Canada's Mining Engineering and Geology Manager at WSP, where he acted as a Qualified Person (QP) and Senior Engineer for mining studies. His career also includes senior management positions at SNC-Lavalin and Nyrstar, as well as an operational leadership role at Unicor Industries. Holding an MBA from HEC Montréal and possessing proven experience in conducting complex PEA, PFS, and FS studies across all materials and regions, Anas uniquely combines technical expertise, operational management, and strategic vision to serve the mining industry.
Omar Mouhyi, Vice President of CCE Mining, is a mining engineer with significant experience at WSP and Newmont's Éléonore mine, where he specialized in mine planning and production scheduling. His background also includes positions at Agnico Eagle, OCP Group, and Managem, providing him with exposure to Canadian and international projects.
Paul Gauthier has over forty years of experience in mining engineering, acquired primarily in major operations in Quebec, Ontario, and the Northwest Territories. A graduate in mining engineering from Université Laval, he has held various technical management positions at Gaspé Copper, Barrick Gold, Xstrata, De Beers, and Stornoway Diamonds. A recognized specialist in open-pit mine design and underground bulk mining, he is proficient in optimization tools such as Whittle® and Lerchs-Grossman algorithms. He has led numerous feasibility studies, from the conceptual phase to development, on gold, diamond, copper, zinc, and nickel projects. His international experience also includes reserve and resource audits, strategic planning, and the economic evaluation of complex mining projects.
Ken Kuchling is a mining engineer with over forty years of experience, specializing in open-pit mining. He has worked in both operations and consulting roles across a wide range of commodities, including gold, copper, potash, diamonds, oil sands, and various industrial minerals. His expertise covers the entire mining cycle: scoping and feasibility studies, NI 43-101 technical reports, mine design, geotechnical engineering, tailings management, hydrogeology, and equipment selection. He has conducted numerous due diligence assessments and reviews, economic analyses and financial modeling, as well as strategic consulting engagements for project development and sales. His international experience spans multiple continents and diverse environments, from Arctic to tropical regions.
John Sagman possesses extensive technical, operational, and project management experience, including continuous improvement initiatives, feasibility studies, the implementation of project control systems, and the construction, development, and commissioning of facilities in extreme climates. He also has significant experience in the Yukon, particularly in permitting and working with First Nations. John ensures that operations, project, and contractor teams are fully engaged in achieving safety and environmental performance objectives, which he considers key indicators of operational success.
As a Competent Person or Qualified Person (CP/QP – NI 43-101, JORC or PERC), Matt provides technical leadership from preliminary studies through feasibility and operations. He offers services covering mine design and planning, open-pit mine optimization, equipment simulation, ore reserve estimation, and technical report writing.
With over 15 years of experience in underground mining operations, Emilie Williams bridges the gap between engineering and mining operations on the one hand, and finance and management on the other. Her areas of expertise include technical analysis and review, mining strategy, economic analysis, and training and skills development. She holds advanced degrees in engineering and management.
Hugo is a licensed professional engineer in Quebec, Canada. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in ventilation, as well as a master's degree in mining engineering. He has over fifteen years of experience in mine ventilation, including four years in operations. His career has been entirely dedicated to mine ventilation. For several years, he led the mine ventilation engineering team at Howden Ventsim, regularly visiting new mine sites to plan, diagnose, and resolve their ventilation issues. He has extensive knowledge of modeling and simulation and has designed numerous mine ventilation systems.
Nawfal El Mkadmi is a mining geotechnical and rock mechanics engineer with over 15 years of experience in Canada and internationally. His expertise covers field studies, geotechnical design, design and supervision of the construction of earth dams and tailings ponds, installation of monitoring instruments for safety, design of mine backfill operations, design and construction of mine roads, stability of open-pit and underground mines, design of support and reinforcement of underground excavations, as well as grouting and cementing of aquifer discontinuities.
Alec Thomlison is a Mining Engineer in Training (MET) with over five years of experience in mine planning at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL). Specializing in the use of Deswik CAD and Deswik Scheduler, he contributed to the optimization of excavation, tailings pile, and dam construction plans for the Albian Oil Sands project. He holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree from McGill University.
