Biography
Alec Thomlison is a mining engineer in training (EIT) with over five years of experience at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL), where he supported operations on the Albian Oil Sands Project.
He was involved in short and medium-term planning (daily to biennial) and in the design of ore/waste excavation programs as well as dams/spoils.
He is proficient in mine planning software, including Deswik CAD and Deswik Scheduler, which he has used to optimize mining sequences, excavation volumes, and operating schedules.
Alec holds a bachelor's degree in mining engineering from McGill University.
